Learn To Row! Summer Camps

St. Andrew Rowing Club offers Learn to Row summer camps for kids in middle and high school. Looking for a way to get your child off the couch this summer? Let them learn how to row!

Summer is here and with it can come bored teens and stressed parents missing the 7-hour school days. Fear not! We've got the perfect solution to getting the kids off the couch and out of the house. Let them learn how to row!

The St. Andrew Rowing Club offers 6 weeks of rowing camps for kids in middle and high school. It’s a great introduction to the sport of rowing and a fun way to get some fresh air and exercise this summer. There are two sessions available, a morning camp from 8:30am-11am and an afternoon camp from 4pm-6:30pm. We also have an all-day camp from 8:30am-5:30pm. Camps each last one week, with the option of adding additional weeks on.

During the camps, kids will learn all of the basics in rowing: boat handling, erging, rowing lingo, a proper stroke, etc. No prior knowledge of the sport is required. The SA summer camps are a great way to learn a new sport in a fun environment. And, hey, who doesn’t like learning new things?
