Looking for a fun new sport to try? Need a way to burn off energy after a long day in school? The Saint Andrew Rowing Club has the answer for you: rowing! 

With summer winding down and classes in session, the only exciting thing to look forward to is the beginning of fall season down at the SARC boathouse. As varsity rowers reconnect with their teammates and start the season determined to make it their best yet, novice rowers come together with a mixture of nerves and excitement as they embark on their new rowing journey together.

Fall season is an exciting time for rowers as they learn and grow in the sport, gain strength and endurance, and train for the two biggest regattas in the country – the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, Massachusetts, and the Head of the Hooch in Chattanooga, Tennessee. 

Whether you’re an experienced rower looking for a team or a newbie wanting to try a different sport, we’ve got a place for you. SARC is having our fall registration this Saturday, August 17th, from 10a.m. - 1p.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church. Come stop by and see what it’s all about!
