FRUIT RECALL UPDATE

WIDER VARIETY OF FRUIT POSSIBLY AFFECTED-MORE STORES INVOLVED

The recent voluntary recall of peaches, nectarines, plums and pluots includes both organic and conventionally grown fruit.  Stores that received the fruit include (but may not be limited to) Wal-mart, Kroger, Costco, Trader Joe's and BJ's.  The fruit may be contaminated with the Listeria Monocytogenes bacterium.
If you suspect that you have purchased any recalled fruit contact the store where you purchased the fruit for more infomation or THROW OUT RECALLED FRUIT.
Even when there is not a recall it's a good idea to WASH ALL FRUIT before eating.  For a link to an easy fruit wash recipe and more information about the recall please visit www.SweetSavant.wordpress.com
