A Creekview High School student was arrested for bringing a handgun onto school grounds Monday, according to authorities.

In a letter that was sent home with Creekview students Tuesday (and is attached to this article), Principal Dr. Adrian Thomason said that the incident, "reinforces the need for school staff, students and parents to work together in reminding everyone that all types of weapons are explicitly prohibited at school under School Board Policy and Georgia law." .

Krystal at 14th Street and Northside Drive Robbed Overnight - Midtown Patch 

Atlanta Police Zone 5 investigators are looking for two suspects who reportedly robbed the Krystal fast-food restaurant located at 14th Street and Northside Drive around 3:30 a.m., Tuesday morning.

According to Atlanta Police Capt. Tim Peek, who spoke to 11Alive cameras from the scene, "two men walked into the restaurant, pulled a weapon on 3 of the workers and ordered them to empty the cash register and they entered the dropbox." .

Bad "Karma" for Vandalized Little 5 Points Boutique - East Atlanta Patch

Atlanta police investigators were still trying to determine if anything was taken from Karma, a Euclid Avenue boutique, following an early morning vandalism incident.

Police have identified the shoplifting suspect in an officer-involved shooting March 18 at a Lilburn Family Dollar.

The man is identified as 62-year-old Louis Richardson, said Lilburn Police Chief Bruce Hedley. He has no known address.

 

Kennesaw Burglary Suspect Leaves Apology Note - Kennesaw Patch

Dalton Lee White, according to a Cobb County criminal warrant, recently came down with a case of burglar's remorse.

Authorities said White broke into a home in Kennesaw and took three blank checks, seven silver coins and a wedding ring set. He allegedly left an envelope containing the remaining blank check, $80 in cash and an apology letter in the homeowner's mailbox. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. .
