Bridge Maintenance Work to Begin

Roswell begins work on three bridges today, Monday, Aug. 22.

The Roswell Department of Transportation has begun bridge maintenance work as of today. L.W. Whitford Company, Inc. will be performing regular maintenance and repairs over the next several weeks, according to a recent statement sent out by the city.

  • Norcross Road at Crestview Circle: Work began Monday, Aug. 22. Maintenance on this bridge will take approximately three working days from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. There will be no lane closure or disruption to traffic.
  • Jones Road at the Cobb County Line: The estimated start date is Thursday, Aug. 25. The work will take place over a two-week period on weekdays from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., weather permitting. This project will include occasional/temporary lane closures.
  • Oxbo Road at Dobbs Road: The estimated start date is Thursday, Sept. 8. The work will require two weeks to complete on weekdays from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., weather permitting. This project will also include occasional/temporary lane closures.
