Lt. Jay Baker, the spokesman for the Cherokee Sheriff's Office, told 11Alive that the man is suspected in a robbery at the restaurant on Sixes Road.

Around 10 a.m. Monday, the suspect allegedly took cash, checks, a Kindle Fire and an iPod Touch from the restaurant, according to 11Alive.

Ten Mouldings Unlimited employees, who last night could have been working the third shift, were not there when explosions shook the city of White and flames began to engulf the manufacturing plant, threatening nearby structures, CBS Atlanta reports.

"It was shaking my whole house. It woke up my daughter and I was like, 'Get your clothes together,'" nearby resident Amanda Thompson told WSB-TV.

"It rattled the windows. It was really loud, like cannons going off," a man said of the explosions, according to the TV station.

Last week, the plant halted its third shift due to slow business, CBS reports. Mouldings Unlimited employs a total of 25.

- Smyrna-Vinings Patch

Cobb Police Sgt. Dana Pierce has told Northeast Cobb Patch that there were three vehicles involved in the accident, which occurred at 4:20 p.m. on eastbound I-285 just west of the Chattahoochee River.

Pierce says that a semi tractor trailer, a small pickup truck, and a passenger car were involved in the accident, but the circumstances of the accident are still under investigation.

He also confirmed one fatality, a passenger in the pickup. The driver has been taken to the hospital, but Pierce had no updates on his condition.

- Alpharetta-Milton Patch

A 45-year-old man, wanted by at least three counties on various charges, turned himself into authorities Thursday afternoon in Alpharetta.

Kennie Askew of Lithonia was arrested by the Warrant Unit at approximately 2 p.m., a press release stated.

Capt. Tim House of the FCSO said earlier in the week that Askew was wanted by authorities in Cobb County for traffic violations and in Gwinnett for probation violation.

In Forsyth County, Askew has been charged with obstructing law enforcement officers and driving with a suspended license . That led to a manhunt for the fugitive with assistance of K9s and a helicopter by the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office.

According to Sheriff Ted Paxton, Askew was apprehended after investigators contacted the wanted man's family and they had Askew contact the deputies. Following a conversation with Capt. Chris Barrett, Askew agreed to turn himself in and was arrested without incident.

- Marietta Patch

Frampere Ingle, 24, of Marietta, has been identified as the driver that entered Ga. 400 at Lenox Road going southbound in the northbound lanes causing Wednesday's two-fatality accident, according to a report by the AJC.

The northbound driver Ingle collided with has been identified as Eric Hanks. Hanks died at the scene, police said. Ingle died at Grady Memorial Hospital following the crash, according to Buckhead Patch.

A passenger in Ingle's vehicle, whose name has not been released, was severely injured and hospitalized in critical condition, according to police.

It appears alcohol may have been a factor in this accident. 

The wrong way driver and the passenger in that vehicle were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
