City to Start Street Resurfacing Projects Tuesday

Work on the two scheduled projects are expected to take one week each.

Roswell’s Transportation Department will begin resurfacing Mountain Park Road today, Tuesday, May 28.

The project, which will resurface Mountain Park Road from Highway 92 to Old Mountain Park Road, is expected to take one week, weather permitting. Once the Mountain Park Road resurfacing project is completed, crews will begin resurfacing Grimes Bridge Road from the roundabout to Dogwood Road. This work is also slated to take approximately one week to complete.

The work will be done by Northwest Georgia Paving at night between the hours of 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. The city warns that traffic delays are to be expected during these hours.
