Cottage School Raises Money for Breast Cancer Awareness

The school raised over $300 toward research last week.

The students and staff at Roswell’s united to raise money and awareness about breast cancer this past week.

Through donations and the sale of pink bracelets, the school raised over $300 to send to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

The week was an inspiring and exciting tribute to helping those seeking financial assistance with this disease. Spearheaded by The Cottage School’s Interact Club, the hope is this week will become an annual event at TCS, a school for students with special learning needs.

“Just like there are different shades of pink in our picture, we know that cancer touches so many different lives," said Lynn Haas, Interact class sponsor. "I am so glad our students had this week to reflect on helping others and learning more about finding a cure for cancer.”
