Holiday Extravaganza at Mountain Park this Weekend

The annual Holiday Extravaganza, a school fundraiser and day of fun-filled activities at Mountain Park Elementary (MPE) in Roswell, will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with free admission.

The only event of its kind in the area, the Holiday Extravaganza is a school fundraiser featuring a basket-themed raffle with 100 percent individual class participation; Delightful Deals, a Group-On type offering of services, tours, tickets to events, etc. with special pricing from local vendors; a Sweet Shoppe of homemade baked goods; entertainment; and a Holiday Marketplace with specialty gifts to purchase.

“Among the many unique features of the Holiday Extravaganza is that nearly 100 percent of monies raised go toward the educational and cultural enrichment for our students. The Holiday Extravaganza enables Mountain Park Elementary to provide opportunities, technology, and additional resources for all our students,” said Stacy Perlman, MPE Principal.

Raffle tickets may be purchased for the themed baskets at several levels from $10 for 10 tickets to $1,000 for 1360 tickets by going to the website. The raffle drawing will be held from 4 p.m.-5 p.m., just after the close of the event.
