Arrest Made in Case of Assault on Oconee Walmart Security Guard - Oconee Patch

A man authorities say was wanted for allegedlypulling a knife on a Walmart security guard Wednesday morning when he was confronted about shoplifting beer has been arrested.

Jeffery Michael Goswick, 24, of Pinewood Estates South mobile home park on Epps Bridge Road just across from Walmart was taken into custody at the park overnight and charged with aggravated assault, Weems said. See Oconee Patch for more on this story.

School Janitor Indicted on Child Pornography Charges - Tucker Patch

A school janitor from Tucker has been indicted on charges that he received child pornography and created pornographic images and videos of minors, according to a release from the Department of Justice.

Josh Ensley, 51, who worked at the Paideia School in Atlanta, was arraigned in federal court today, Thursday, Nov. 29, before United States Magistrate Judge Russell G. Vineyard. Sandy Plains Road Burger King Robbed - Northeast Cobb Patch

A Burger King restaurant on Sandy Plains Road was robbed Thursday night and Cobb Police are looking for the man wanted in connection with the incident.

Cobb Police spokesman Officer Michael Bowman said in a release that the suspect is a male, race unknown, and was wearing all black clothing and a mask to hide his face. See Northeast Cobb Patch for more on this story.

iPhone Scam Leads to Shooting in Historic Fourth Ward Skate Park - East Atlanta Patch

Atlanta police arrested a man in Historic Fourth Ward Skate Park Thursday night after he attempted to rob another man responding to a bogus ad on Craigslist.

Michael Lee Willis Jr., 18, was arrested and charged with armed robbery in the incident, which occurred after 7 p.m. He remains in jail. See East Atlanta Patch for more on this story.

Police Make Arrest In Alleged Crib Theft - Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch

Two people have been arrested in connection with the theft of a trailer at The HOPE Center, but police are still looking for another person. 

Cobb County Police have arrested Carl James Bourque, 44, of Marietta and Bobbie Jean Colston, 31, of Woodstock after a citizen spotted the trailer taken from the nonprofit organization some time between Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. See Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch for more on this story.

- Loganville-Grayson Patch

Gwinnett County police report that a 50-year-old Loganville man was involved in the wreck on S.R. 20 in Grayson that sent both drivers to the hospital.

"At about 5:00 a.m., Ofc. H. McCall was involved in a head-on collision at the intersection of Grayson Pkwy (S.R. 20) and Brackin Trace," Cpl. Jake Smith, spokesperson for GCPD said in the relase.
