Cobb authorities arrested an Acworth mother they say purchased and injected heroin with her two children in the car.

Alpharetta Police Identify Victims of Webb Bridge Road Car Crash - Alpharetta-Milton Patch

Two victims involved in an early morning single-vehicle accident that closed Webb Bridge Road at Big Creek near North Point Parkway have been identified.

Victim Identified in I-575 Fatality - Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch

The Georgia State Patrol has identified the woman who was fatally hit by a vehicle on Interstate 575 late Wednesday night.

Jamie Lynn Sanborn, 42, of Ball Ground, was struck and killed near mile marker nine between the new Ridgewalk Parkway interchange under construction and Towne Lake Parkway, said Georgia State Patrol Spokesman Gordy Wright. See Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch for more on this story.

Worker Robbed by Trio with Red Bandanas, Gun - Cartersville Patch

A local resident and Krystal employee said he was robbed at gunpoint under the bridge in downtown Cartersville by men wearing red bandanas.

Cartersville police got the call about 10:35 p.m. Wednesday. The victim, 22, was walking home from work and noticed a group following him on Gilmer Street at the Church Street bridge overpass. See Cartersville Patch for more on this story.
