Nine Street Kitchen Benefits Breast Cancer Research this Week

Special sales on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 10-11, will go to the Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition.

Nine Street Kitchen will be doing their part to raise public awareness of Breast Cancer on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.

On Wednesday, Oct. 10, proceeds from the sale of t-shirts and custom-made pink Breast Cancer Awareness Blankets will benefit Paint Georgia Pink! and is in memory of Sheena Hutchinson, a Roswell resident who succumbed to breast cancer in 2009, leaving behind her husband, Jeremy R. Hutchinson and her two young children, Abby and Alec. On Thursday, Oct. 11, Nine Street Kitchen’s staff will be wearing pink t-shirts and the picnic area will be covered with pink Breast Cancer Awareness blankets. The restaurant will be adorned with pink balloons, flags and streamers.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the t-shirts and blankets sold by the Canton Street restaurant, which is family-owned and operated, will go to the Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition. There will be drink specials both days and the public is invited to participate both days from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
