Roswell Resident Dies in Plane Crash

Roswell resident Bryan Hedrick was one of two men killed in a Henry County plane crash Tuesday, Mar. 8.

Bryan Hedrick, of Roswell, was killed during a test flight at Tara Field in Henry County on Tuesday, Mar. 8, according to reports by several media outlets, including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The AJC reports Hedrick - who was allegedly flying the plane - and another man, Oriel Roberts, were doing test flights on a plane that was undergoing maintenance at Hampton-based National Aerotech Aviation.

It was during the last test run that the plane crashed into a group of trees within seconds of taking off. Aerial shots taken by WSBTV Channel 2 show the nose of the plane on the ground and the tail stuck up in a tree.
