Roswell Wins Bragging Rights at North Fulton Golden Games

Mayor Jere Wood defeats his Alpharetta, Milton and Johns Creek counterparts in a Hula Hoop competition.

Before the registered athletes began field events at the North Fulton Golden Games this morning at Newtown Park, four mayors had their own competition. Event organizers chose Hula Hoops as the sport for the elected officials.

Roswell Mayor Jere Wood easily defeated Milton Mayor Joe Lockwood, Alpharetta Mayor David Belle Isle and Johns Creek Mayor Mike Bodker. His city got to take the traveling trophy back to City Hall until next year, when another competition will determine which mayor gets to claim bragging rights.
