A woman who appears to be in her late 60s was flown to Grady Hospital in Atlanta after a SUV struck her today in Canton's Great Sky subdivision.

One person was killed Thursday morning in a collision between an SUV and a school bus in south DeKalb County.
DeKalb police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said the bus was stopped at the intersection of Panthersville and Oakvale roads about 7:20 a.m. when, according to witnesses, a black sport utility vehicle approached “at a high rate of speed” and slammed into the back of the bus.
The SUV driver died, Parish said.
