The traffic light at the Alpharetta Street/Magnolia Street/Canton Street intersection will be turned off on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 9 p.m. to approximately 5 a.m. Friday while crews conduct traffic signal work.
A police officer will be directing traffic while the signal is down. Drivers should expect delays and avoid the intersection if possible while the work is being done, according to the city.
