Two Moms in the Raw Recalls Pesto Sea Crackers

The crackers were distributed nationwide.

Two Moms in the Raw of Lafayette, CO is voluntarily recalling a limited number of 4 oz packages of Pesto Sea Crackers which were distributed between July 2 to Aug. 6 because they may contain undeclared peanuts.

People who have allergies to peanuts run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The recalled product is identified as Two Moms in the Raw, Gluten-Free Pesto Sea Crackers enclosed in brown semi-synthetic packaging with a transparent section displaying the contents. Labeling on the product is green, white, and blue with blue, green, and red print writing. T

he lot numbers included in this recall are:

  • 1008,
  • 1016,
  • 1027,
  • 1055,
  • 1067.

The lot number and expiration date are printed in black ink on the lower portion of the reverse side of the 4 oz package.

This product was distributed to retailers and distributors located nationwide.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

The voluntary recall was initiated after Two Moms in the Raw was notified by their raw ingredient supplier that the pine nuts used in the manufacture of the affected lots may have been contaminated with peanuts. No other Two Moms in the Raw products, lots, pack sizes, flavors or "Best By" date codes are affected.

Consumers who have purchased affected lots of the Pesto Sea Crackers are urged to return them to the place of purchase or discard them immediately. Consumers with any questions should contact Two Moms in the Raw at 720-221-8555 (9-5 MST).
