Roswell Voters to Decide 3 City Council Spots
The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Tuesday is Election Day in Roswell, as voters go to the polls to determine half the make-up of the Roswell City Council.
Three weeks of advance voting was completed on Friday.
The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. If you are unsure of your polling station, visit the Georgia Secretary of State's My Voter Page.
Roswell Mayor Jere Wood is running unopposed and will be serving a fourth term in January.
But three incumbent City Council members are facing opposition.
Post 4 incumbent Kent Igleheart is being challenged by Harvey Smith; Post 5 incumbent Jerry Orlans is facing Eric Schumacher; and Post 6 incumbent Nancy Diamond is opposed by Kendra Myers Cox.
They have appeared together in two candidates forums and debates, including last week at the High Meadows School in an event sponsored by RoswellNEXT.
