Barrington Hall's Wednesday Lecture Series

On Wednesday, January 8th, Barrington
Hall continues its Wednesday Evening
Lecture Series
. Author and historian Reverend David
P. Bridges will present “James Breathed: The
Physician Who Became a Decorated Warrior”.  Reverend Bridges is an Adjunct Professor of
Writing at the University of Richmond and author of Broken Circle, a historical novel about James Breathed who chose to
fight for the confederacy rather than tend to the wounded. Reverend Bridges also happens to be the great, great
nephew of James Breathed. Reverend Bridges will
begin speaking at 7pm; there will be a question and answer period after the
lecture. The doors open at 6:30pm. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
