Common Grounds Coffee House

Connecting people who love to play music with those that love to listen! Live music on the 4th Saturday of each month. June 28th: Bob Bakert, Curtis Jones, and The Cottrells. Music starts at 7:30 PM. Doors open at 7:00 PM.

It's Common Grounds' second anniversary! To celebrate, some of the wonderful performers from our very first show are returning. Bob Bakert will feature songs from his newly released CD “Finger Paintings”, as well as covers from iconic acoustic artists like James Taylor and Gordon Lightfoot, and jazz artists like Nat King Cole. Performing with Bob will be Curtis Jones. Curtis has been called "one of the best guitar players on the planet" and is an influential guitarist in the world of Bluegrass and New Acoustic music. You can hear some of his original work at http://www.reverbnation.com/curtisjonesmusic.
Plus, The Cottrells will be here for the second half of our show. The Cottrells (husband and wife acoustic duo Dustin and Adrienne) were formerly known as Tortoise and Hair. We are looking forward to their excellent musicianship and beautiful voices once again. Connect with them on Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/cottrellsmusic) or listen on iTunes ( https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/a-front-row-seat/id353154013).

Join us for an evening of good friends, good food and great music!

Light refreshments are for sale, including sweet treats, fruit with cheese and crackers, soft drinks and of course fair trade coffee. You are also welcome to bring your own refreshments. Tell a friend! Bring a friend! Forward to a friend!

$5.00 suggested donation. (We also collect food donations for North Fulton Community Charities.)
