Common Grounds Coffee House
Good friends, good music, good food. Live music on the 4th Saturday of each month. October 26th: One Lane Bridge, and Rye. Please note our new time: Music starts at 7:30 PM. Doors open at 7:00 PM.
Individually known as Mike Cerra, Cameron Morrison Kane, and Celia McDermott, together they are One Lane Bridge, an acoustic trio bringing renditions of songs bridging years of love and life, including the Beatles, Bonnie Raitt, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Indigo Girls, James Taylor, David Wilcox, John Prine, and many others.
Our second performers will be the duo Rye - brothers David and Jonathan Fallis. Jonathan plays the bass and drums, while David is on guitar and keyboards. Rye released their first studio album, Cumberland Island, in May of 2013. “We have always been committed to writing the most
honest songs we can,” says David Fallis, the older of the two. “In a lot of ways, we have had to grow into our songs.” Cumberland Island captures that growth with subtlety and candid storytelling. Listen to their songs and watch videos of their performances on their website, www.RyeTheBand.com
Light refreshments are for sale, including sweet treats, fruit with cheese and crackers, soft drinks and of course fair trade coffee. You are also welcome to bring your own refreshments. It is a time to get together and enjoy each other's company and have some fun.
