Fall in Georgia - the Best Time to Plant Trees and Shrubs

Fall is the
best time in Georgia to plant shrubs and trees and prepare soil for next year’s plantings.  Most shrubs and trees will do better when
they have the opportunity to get established over the winter.  This class will cover: preparing soil,
selecting shrubs, planting trees and shrubs, and mulching/watering/fertilizing.

Class
is run by Fulton Co. Coop Ext and N Fulton Master Gardeners. Register online at
www.roswellgov.com, Rec Program Registration (Activity 52020) or stop by
Community Bldg. For additional information, go to www.nfmg.net, Community Classes section, or call (770) 641-3760.
