Preview Bicycle Ride for 24 Hours of Booty

Preview the cycling route in Sandy Springs that will be used for this year's 24 Hours of Booty Atlanta. Complimentary lunch after the ride.

On Saturday, September 6, preview the neighborhood cycling route in Sandy Springs that will be used this fall for the fifth annual 24 Hours of Booty of Atlanta. Peachtree Bikes, the official bike shop of 24 Hours of Booty, will provide bicycle inspections and host events that include a one-hour, no-drop bicycle ride, and lunch. Cyclists of all ages and abilities can check out the 2.6-mile, flat course, which will be used for 24 Hours of Booty this fall. The Bike Check and Preview Ride is from 8:30-10 a.m. (no-drop ride leaves at 9 a.m.) and the Post-Ride Food is available from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Team captains and 24 Hours of Booty representatives will be on hand to answer questions and lead the group ride. Free parking is available across the street at Steve’s Live Music, 234 Hilderbrand Drive. Helmets and bicycles are required. Free Preview Ride and lunch with signed waiver; children 16 and under must have a parent or guardian present to participate. Early registration for 24 Hours of Booty of Atlanta is $45 per person ($15 discount on September 6), and riders are asked to raise a minimum of $200 prior to the ride in the fall. 24 Hours of Booty is the premier organization for integrating community fundraising and cycling to support cancer survivorship and navigation programs. It organizes safe, fun and family-friendly bicycling events for all abilities to raise funds for organizations dedicated to the fight against cancer, including the Aflac Cancer Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, http://www.carolinashealthcare.org/levine-cancer-institute and LIVESTRONG Foundation. Event weekend, October 4-5, participants can ride as little (one lap, one hour), or as much (25-100 laps, all 24 hours), as they want during a 24-hour period.
