River Eves Elementary Kindergarten Orientation

River Eves Elementary to Host

Kindergarten Orientation
on Monday, May 5, 2013

Rising Kindergarten and new students are
invited to attend an informative, exciting and fun Orientation at River Eves
Elementary on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. Students and parents will benefit from the opportunity

to meet key administration and teaching staff, tour the school, see a “real”

Kindergarten classroom, meet other elementary school students and perhaps top
of the list—sit on a real school bus! Parents will learn key details about

River Eves Elementary, getting a “jump” on the new school year, with a

presentation from school administrators, teachers and staff, as well as leaders

from the PTA and the River Eves Education Foundation (REEF). They can also

complete necessary paperwork and collect information on key upcoming dates for
Kindergarteners and all River Eves families.

“Orientation is a very exciting time for our rising Kindergarten
students and parents,” said Principal Neil Pinnock. “Our teachers and staff are also energized to meet our newest Eagles.

This is a fun activity that also plays an important role in helping
preschool students transition to Kindergarten. We look forward to it every
year.”

River Eves Elementary is located at 9000 Eves
Road in Roswell, Georgia. The school has earned numerous accolades, including the Reward School Title for Highest-Performing Title I School in 2012 and 2013 (top 5 percent). River Eves was the only elementary school in Fulton County to
receive this award.
