Volunteers Needed for Project LIFT

NORTH FULTON

(ROSWELL, GA) – (August 4, 2012) – Project is seeking volunteers in (NORTH FULTON) – for a variety of positions including mentoring, tutoring, transportation, snacks donations as well as volunteers to be on the board or its committees to support publicity, fundraising and management of the organization.  We are specifically seeking volunteers to help with our biggest fundraiser, LIFT a Fork.

Our Community meeting will be held on August 14, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. Meeting is being held at Bridge to Grace Church at 2385 Holcomb Bridge Road, Roswell, GA 30076. The meeting will be an opportunity to hear about the Project LIFT program and its successes along with the volunteer and support opportunities for the 2012-13 program year.

Project LIFT is a performance-based, for at risk youth.  The goal of Project LIFT is to help students stay in school and prepare to graduate with a plan for their next step- college, trade school, armed forces, etc. – and eventually move into the workforce.

LIFT a Fork is our largest fundraising event where individuals and corporations come together to donate their time, resources, and goods to formulate a spectacular evening of food, music, and silent auction.

"LIFT a Fork is all about our community uniting with Project LIFT and supporting its efforts to create a world where our students can achieve their dreams and be successful.  Volunteers and participants who are willing to give their time and energy to this exciting event are making a commitment to let North Fulton know that we believe in the success of our students.”

Please join us on August 14th and learn how you can be a part of this important program!  Questions?  Call (404)545 2354 or email Amanda@projectlift.org.
