Play Golf, Help Keep Roswell Beautiful

Registration open for 10th annual tourney.

Keep Roswell Beautiful wants you to Play the Green to Save the Green in its 10th annual golf tournament and scramble on Monday, Aug. 19, at The Country Club of Roswell. Tee off is set for 11 a.m. 

The tourney raises funds and awareness for environmental education and helps to involve the citizens of Roswell in the beautification, conservation and preservation of the environment.

Tournament activities include the Golf Ball Drop by Mayor Jere Wood, putting contests and prizes. Lunch, an award ceremony and beverages on the course are provided to participants.

The tournament has previously raised funds that support KRB signature projects, including the purchase of the KRB Earth Balloon (a mobile environmental classroom for local schools) and providing recycling containers and park benches at Big Creek Wetlands Park.

Primary event sponsors are Conex Recycling, Ecological Solutions and Atlantic Coast Consulting.
