Keep Roswell Beautiful is now accepting nominations for its annual Educator of the Year Award, according to the city of Roswell.
Organizers of the award are looking for nominees who work at a public or private school in Roswell, demonstrate exemplary efforts in environmental education and have helped keep the city beautiful during the 2012-2013 school year in some way.
To make a nomination, the city requests you submit a one-page Microsoft Word document which details the following:
- Your name and relationship with the nominee
- The nominee’s name, school and grade(s)/subject taught
- A description of the nominee’s accomplishments and why he/she deserves the award
Anyone in contact with local teachers - including students, PTA members, other teachers and administrators - are encouraged to send in nominations.
Nominations are due by Friday, April 12. E-mail your nomination as an attachment to Vicki Culbreth at email@example.com. The winner will be recognized at the Keep Roswell Beautiful Volunteer Recognition Event at Roswell River Landing on April 23.
