Roswell Celebrates History With Heritage Days

Roswell will commemorate May as National Historic Preservation Month with its Heritage Days series.

With the month of May designated as National Historic Preservation Month, the city of Roswell will roll out its Heritage Days in May series.

The events celebrates the people, places and events that's shaped Roswell's past and present.

"Heritage Days in May is a great reminder of all the wonderful things Roswell has to offer," said Morgan Timmis, the City’s Historic and Cultural Affairs Manager. "Roswell’s history and culture are brought to life in a series of events that include something for everyone."

  • May 1-30: 11th Annual Roswell Heritage Days Photographic Juried Exhibit
  • May 3: Chris Thomas King performs at Riverside Sounds Free Concert series.
  • May 9: Drum Circle with Chuck Cogliandro at the Chattahoochee Nature Center
  • May 10: Roswell Presents: Spencer Day at the Cultural Arts Center
