Children's Restoration Network Gift Drive Continues

The Roswell-based organization is having a gift wrap party Dec. 19-22 at the Roswell Town Center.

The Roswell-based Children's Restoration Network is still asking for toys, clothing and gifts as it continues its drive to provide holiday joy to an estimated 3,000 homeless children in the metro Atlanta area.

The "12 Days of Caring" campaign is asking that donations be dropped off at any School Box store or to the CRN office at 11285 Elkins Road, Suite C-4.

There's also the opportunity to drop off items at the organization's Wrap Party Dec. 19-20 at the Roswell Town Center, Holcomb Bridge Road and Alpharetta Highway, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.

For older kids the most requested items are mp3 players, and digital cameras. PS3, Nintendo, Wii, and X box games are also high on the list.

Also requested by both boys and girls are colorful tennis shoes especially sizes 8 to 12 adult. Atlanta Falcons zip-up hoodies are also frequently asked for in large, extra-large and double-extra-large sizes.

Other popular choices are gift cards from Walmart, Target, or Old Navy, etc. There are also infant items like pampers and such that teen mothers often request.

Santa dollars are now available at any Publix Store in metro Atlanta. These make a great stocking stuffer or fun addition to any Christmas Card. Sales go to support the CRN's New Hope Scholarship Program.
