Avalon Developers Reveal Home Designs, Construction Timeline

North Fulton residents and motorists traveling down Old Milton and Westside Parkways will see vertical construction in September.

Monte Hewett and Lew Oliver helped Avalon developer Mark Toro to reveal home designs and construction timeline at the development coming next to Old Milton Parkway and GA 400.

"There are more than 250 people on a waiting list for 101 homes," Toro said. "Those who are lucky enough to own a home at Avalon will experience a lifestyle that will be coveted by their family and friends, a lifestyle not available anywhere else in the Southeast."

The Sneak Peek for The Avalon Residences was held Tuesday night at Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby's International Realty to a standing room crowd, said Debra Dent of Atlanta Fine Homes. Toro also wowed the crowd with announcements of new retail commitments to Avalon.

More than 175 potential clients, agents and special guest were in attendance.

Toro said the development's retail side is 60 percent leased, with another 20 percent of its space in lease negotiation.

And when will motorists driving by the development begin to see construction?

"We expect vertical construction to begin in September, once all permits are in place," Toro said on Wednesday.
