Roswell 'Bat Dad' Videos Go Viral
Blake Wilson dispenses fatherly wisdom -- and barks out a few orders -- from behind the mask of the caped crusader.
Roswell resident Blake Wilson has mastered the new art of seven-second video while fulfilling his fatherly role in a very entertaining way.
In the process, his dispensations have been spreading across the Web like wildfire.
From his Twitter account (BatDadVine) Wilson links out to videos he compiles on Vine, a new service that limits each video to seven seconds.
The videos (here's a collection from our sister site, The Huffington Post) show Wilson carting his four children around town, imploring them at home to do chores and homework and just generally doing what a parent is supposed to do:
"It's picture day, and I've just noticed you have toothpaste on your shirt," he says to a child in the back seat of the car.
And this: "Jen! Put your seat belt on! You're breaking . . . the law."
His "stardom" has earned coverage from BuzzFeed and the Today Show.
