Obituary: Herbert Carroll Dodd, 79
Dodd retired after 35 years from Northwest Airlines and was a lifelong member of Clear Springs Baptist Church.

Herbert Carroll Dodd, 79 of Alpharetta, died Aug. 10, 2013. He retired from Northwest Airlines after 35 years of service. He was a lifelong member and deacon of Clear Springs Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Shirley Dodd. He is survived by his children, Pamela and Kevin Troop, Carroll and Laurie Dodd all of Cumming and Greg and Debbie Dodd of Alpharetta; brother, Everett and Anne Dodd of Cumming; grandchildren, Ty and Amber Sims, Isaac and Jessica Dodd, Gabe and Breanne Dodd, Austin Dodd, Evan Dodd, Aaron Troop and Leia Troop all of Cumming; great-grandchildren, Beau, Amaya and Aubryn; loving caregiver, Mae Shelton.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013 at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Gabe Dodd officiating.
Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any stories or fond memories to be sent to pamelatroop@yahoo.com.
