A native of Connecticut, Walsted moved to Roswell in 1980 where she lived until she passed away.

Laura Albright Walstedt, 98, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 06, 2013. She was born on January 31, 1915, in Southington, CT and lived in Connecticut until 1980 when she moved to Roswell, GA with her husband, Paul, who preceded her in death.
She was retired from the Aetna Fire Insurance Company, now part of Cigna Insurance Company. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lynda and Thomas E. Mann of Roswell and Karen and James C. Brooks of Marietta; grandchildren Ryan T. Mann of Hong Kong, Dr. J. Paul Brooks (Courtenay) of Richmond, VA; Tyler A. Mann (Lindsey) of Atlanta, Paige R. Brooks of Mableton, and three great-grandchildren, J.C. Brooks, Lowe, and Grant Mann.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Roswell, GA on Saturday, August 10 at 2:00 p.m. Northside Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
