Sandra Dabbs, 50, Horse Breeder and Trainer

Sandra Buchanan Tyson Dabbs, age 50 of Roswell, died on Jan. 10. 

Dabbs was a graduate of John Carroll High School in Birmingham, Ala.

She loved animals, especially dogs and horses, and worked for large and small animal veterinary practices in Birmingham and Alpharetta.

Dabbs and her husband Fred, were active in the equestrian community in Alpharetta breeding and training horses. 

She also was a manager of the Alpharetta Welcome Center.

She is predeceased by her husband, Fred L. Dabbs, and her father James W. Tyson IV. She is survived by her mother, Lynn S. Tyson; her siblings Chip W. Tyson, Molly T. Allen (Jim) and Richard W. Tyson (Alison), and her nieces and nephews: Jay Tyson, Abby Tyson (mom, Patricia), Ty Tyson, Blake Tyson, Savannah Allen, Emily Allen and Ella Jia Li Allen. Dabbs is also survived by her large extended family in California, South Carolina and New England. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Perimeter Church Deacon's Fund, 9500 Medlock Bridge Road, Johns Creek, GA 30097.
