Do Dueling Videos of 'Redistribution' vs. the '47 Percent' Give Voters Clear Choice?

After a video was leaked exposing comments Mitt Romney made at a fundraiser, one has now surfaced that the Romney camp says shows that the Obama's agenda is one of redistribution of wealth.

Earlier in the week, news outlets were consumed by a leaked video of presidential candidate Mitt Romney saying 47 percent of Americans do not pay income taxes and are therefore dependent on the government. Now, according to a report in The Huffington Post, another video, reportedly pushed by The Drudge Report, allegedly shows President Barack Obama claiming he supports "redistribution."

Romney has been standing by his 47 percent statement, claiming it shows the difference between he and Obama, with Obama supporting a "government-centered" society.

"I know there are some who believe that if you simply take from some and give to others then we’ll all be better off. It’s known as redistribution. It’s never been a characteristic of America," The Huffington Post reported Romney saying Wednesday at an Atlanta fundraiser. "There’s a tape that came out just a couple of days ago where the president said yes he believes in redistribution. I don’t. I believe the way to lift people and help people have higher incomes is not to take from some and give to others but to create wealth for all."

So do these two tapes give us a clear vision of exactly who we will be voting for in November? Or is it all just more of the same, an indication of how bloody the water will be when November finally rolls around? Tell us in comments below.
