Body Of Woman Found in Roswell Identified

Roswell Police have released the identity of the woman found dead in a Roswell hotel room yesterday.

The Roswell Police Department has identified the woman found dead at the In Town Suites Extended Stay Hotel yesterday as Debra Black.

Black, 48, from Canton, Ga., had checked into the hotel earlier in the week. She was found by a cleaning lady the morning of Thursday, June 2.

According to police, the cleaning lady found Black's body lying on a bed in room 138 around 10:40 to 10:50 a.m. during her normal cleaning rotation.

Details released by Roswell say the room was in disarray and the "body had some points of interest on it." The Fulton County Medical Examiners office will not provided a cause of death until a toxicology report comes back. 

The case is still under investigation.
