Roswell Resident Reports Cyber Extortion, Death Threat

The following reports were obtained through the Roswell Police Department. They in no way represent a guilty plea or conviction.

-A Roswell resident called police two weeks ago when he received an e-mail from a man exhorting money in order to not carry out a contracted kill that had allegedly been placed on the resident.

The poorly written e-mail told the local resident that the sender had been hired to kill him, but that he wouldn't carried out the "termination" if he was paid $12,000. The sender told the victim of the extortion that he was willing to meet somewhere or come to the house for payment.

The case is currently active.
