Hooded Man Points Gun at People Passing

Local residents were taken back by a man pointing a gun at people in a local apartment complex.

Several people called after a hooded man in a gray sweater was see pointing a handgun at passing cars around the Berkshires at Nesbit Ferry area on Friday, Nov. 4.

One upset witness told police she had been approaching a speed bump within the complex when a man matching the gunman's description jumped out of a vehicle and began running toward her, as if he was going to cross in front of her car. She slowed the car to let him cross, but it was at that moment the man pulled a gun from his waistband and aimed it at her. The witness sped away quickly.

While police interviewed her, another witness called 911 with a similar story of seeing a man acting very nervous, getting in and out of an older model Volkswagon hatch-back vehicle. When police met with her, she told them that his behavior was so suspicious she felt the need to alert authorities.
