Two More Arrested in Cumming Home Invasion – Cumming Patch

Two more suspects wanted in a Cumming home invasion last week have been arrested, authorities said.

Yusef Davis, 26, was arrested by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office on warrants issued by Cumming Police who also arrested Robert Nash, 21. Both men, who are from Cumming, were picked up earlier today [Monday]. A third suspect, Shaeem McLaren, 20, also of Cumming, was arrested last week. Visit Cumming Patch for more on this story.

Cops: Woman Assaults Walmart Worker After Shoplifting – Cartersville Patch

Authorities say a woman shown in Walmart surveillance footage shoplifted at the Cartersville store, then assaulted an employee who tried to confront her about it.

Bartow County Sheriff's Office investigators, who released images from the surveillance footage on Monday, want to identify the woman who was wearing a jersey with the No. 2 in connection with the Friday incident about 6 p.m. Witnesses later spotted her leaving in a silver SUV with Alabama tags. The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will conduct two separate recruitments next week to help a McDonald’s restaurant and Blue Stream Professional Services fill a number of jobs in Cobb County.

The first event will be held Thursday, Oct. 25, from 8-11 a.m. at the McDonald’s restaurant, located at 4050 Jiles Rd. in Kennesaw.

The restaurant will be hiring workers to operate grills, take orders from customers, operate cash registers, prepare menu items, stock supplies, perform cleaning and janitorial services, and provide building maintenance. Visit Marietta Patch for more on this story.
