The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety needs the public to help them locate a man they say robbed a Wells Fargo bank located in the city.

The armed robbery happened at 11:13 a.m. Tuesday at the bank's location at 12460 Crabapple Road, the department said in a news release.

The suspect is described as a white male who stands between 5'9 and 6 feet tall and weighs between 175 and 190 pounds.

Police believe the suspect entered the bank, "produced a silver-colored firearm" and demanded employees hand over money, the release said.

The man, who police say left on foot, was wearing a dark Harley Davidson T-shirt, blue jeans, a dark cap and sunglasses.

Alpharetta police believe the same man was behind a robbery that occurred Monday night in another city. The suspect was also captured wearing the same T-shirt at the time of the Monday robbery, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
