Police Blotter: Mar. 13-20

A condensed list of incidents within Roswell over the past week.

A Roswell man was arrested by police for having his wife call 911 and falsely report that a man had pointed a gun at him during an argument.

When Roswell Police arrived to the scene Saturday, Mar. 19, the suspect in question was no longer around, but the man who had summoned police told them he wanted to press charges. After changing his story several times during the course of giving a statement, police questioned the details of what had actually happened. Upon review of surveillance video, the footage showed that the altercation between the two men had never produced a gun and the man was never actually in lethal danger.

Police transported him to the Roswell Detention Center without incident.
