Police Charge Bomb Hoax Suspect on Three Counts

North Point Mall was evacuated Friday morning after a bomb threat was received shortly before 10 a.m.

A suspect whom Alpharetta police say confessed to a bomb threat hoax at North Point Mall last week was formally charged with terroristic threats, making false alarm and false 911 report, according to George Gordon.

Gordon, the spokesman for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety, previously said that , hours after police allege he made the call that forced the evacuation of the mall.

The mall was evacuated mid-morning Friday after the bomb threat was made shortly before 10 a.m.
