Police Make Arrest in Gas Station Shooting

The Roswell Police Department arrested a man they believe is connected to a shooting Thursday, March 29, at a Holcomb Bridge Road gas station.

Roswell Police arrested Lorenzo James Leftenant and charged him with aggravated assault after he allegedly shot a man at a Holcomb Bridge Road gas station.

James Landingham was shot Thursday afternoon in the parking lot of the Chevron Gas Station at 1105 Holcomb Bridge Road.

According to reports, when Leftenant allegedly approached his victim, Landingham thought it was a toy gun. After he was shot, he waved down an a Roswell Police officer, who was on patrol near the intersection where the gas station is located, and showed him a gun shot wound to the abdomen.

Landingham, alert and conscience at the scene, was transported to North Fulton Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police were given gunman look-out information, and a male matching the description was located approximately an hour and a half later behind the , located at 575 Old Holcomb Bridge Road, one block away from the incident location.
