Roswell Business Owner Awaits Sentencing

Patrick Nagle, of Advanced Solutions for Tomorrow (ASFT), which used to be based in Roswell, will have to wait even longer to be sentenced regarding a guilty plea for conspiracy to commit bribery.

An East Cobb man could have to wait four extra months to be sentenced in a Navy kickback case.

Patrick Nagle, 51, who was a senior vice president for defunct defense contractor Advanced Solutions for Tomorrow (ASFT), was supposed to be sentenced in March for , but a in the sentencing, Middletown (RI) Patch reported.

ASFT was based in Middletown and Roswell before revelations of the kickback scheme involving Navy contracts brought the company down in February.

His sentencing was put on hold during his cooperation in the federal prosecution of Ralph Mariano, a civilian program manager with the Navy’s Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), who is alleged to have received the kickbacks from ASFT.

Prosecutors say they need Nagle’s help beyond the current sentencing date of March 1, The Associated Press reported in an article carried by The Washington Post.
