Roswell resident Samuel Wiggins, 20, was killed in a single-car accident Sunday night when he ran off Riverside Road and hit a tree, reports the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Wiggins' passenger and roommate, Dillon Rigsby, 19, is still in critical condition.
Roswell Police Department Spokeswoman Lisa Holland said excessive speed was a factor, but investigators will have to wait on toxicology results to see if any illegal substances were also involved.
