Roswell Man Critically Injured in Forsyth Wreck

A car crash Wednesday morning in northeast Forsyth County sends two people to the hospital in critical condition.

Two men were hurt Wednesday morning following a car crash on Highway 53 just west of the intersection of Highway 306 (Keith Bridge Road) in northeast Forsyth County.

Capt. Jason Shivers of the said David P. White, 36, of Roswell was life flighted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta in critical and "unstable" condition. The driver of the other vehicle, Hong V. Lam, 49 of Gainesville was taken to North Fulton by ambulance in critical condition.

According to the incident report, the accident happened after White, who was driving a 1995 BMW and traveling westbound on Highway 53, turned right into a driveway. He then made a u-turn and attempted to get back onto the highway heading eastbound. Meanwhile, Lam who was following behind the BMW in a 1997 Toyota Rav4, failed to yield to White's u-turn. This caused Lam to slam into the front left-side of White's car causing it to veer off to the right stopping in a ditch. Lam's SUV rolled for about 20 feet before stopping.
