Roswell Police Arrest Eight in Connection with Wednesday Night Home Invasion
The department credits area law enforcement for helping them make the arrests.
have arrested eight suspects in connection with the armed robbery of a local family last night.
But, Roswell Police Department Spokesperson Lt. James McGee said police won't be releasing any more information on the arrested suspects right now because of ongoing investigations into other crimes possibly committed by the same suspects.
In recent months, there have been a rash of burglaries seemingly targeting Asian Indians. The specific ethincity is reportedly being targeted for their gold, since the value is continuing to go up.

McGee told the Atlanta Journal Constitution that police aren't yet sure whether the specific Roswell crime is part of a larger pattern.
The eight suspects are charged with breaking into a home in Hadfield last night, Wednesday, Dec. 28 around 7:35 p.m. and tying up the homeowner, as well as knocking his wife down a flight of stairs once she and their children returned home from the grocery store.

Roswell Police credit the Cobb County Police Department for their assistance with on-the-ground and intelligence efforts, as well as the Georgia State Patrol for use of a helicopter, Forsyth County Sheriff for use of their K9 unit, Cherokee County Sheriff for use of their K9 unit and Woodstock Police Department for the assistance of officers in the case.
