Roswell Police Blotter: April 11-17

A condensed list of incidents within Roswell over the past week.

  • A Roswell man admitted to possessing and distributing images of child pornography after the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Roswell Police Department discovered the images during an ongoing investigation between February and April. The man turned his Macbook laptop to authorities without incident.
  • As he was walking home on Friday, April 15, a young man was approached by several older males he knew from school. The older boys told him to turn over his brand new iPod or else they would “pound his face in,” according to the police report. He turned over the device out of fear. The boy begged his mom not to file a police report on the iPod - which he had only received two days prior - because the suspect had used a few choice words to let him know he would be assaulted anytime they saw him if he did. She gave police the iPod’s serial number and told police she wanted to press charges.
