Roswell Police Seek Suspects In Hembree Gym Fight

A fight at the Hembree Park gym left one victim unconscious and police are looking for two suspects who may have been involved.

The Roswell Police Department is asking the public to help them identify two men they believe were involved in a fight last week that left one victim with serious injuries.

The department was called to the Hembree Park gym around 3 p.m. on Aug. 7 in reference to a fight, according to a post the department put on its Facebook page

Once officers arrived, they found a victim who was lying unresponsive on the basketball court. The victim was later treated for "serious injuries" at North Fulton Hospital, the department said in its message.

Several witnesses on the scene described the two suspects, who police say fled the area before they arrived.

One suspect is believed to be a light-skinned black man, about 5'9, weighs between 150 and 170 pounds and has tattoos on his chest and arms. The man allegedly speaks in a higher pitched voice, and was last seen driving a newer model blue Nissan Sentra with a North Carolina license plate.

The second suspect is described as a medium to dark-skinned black man, around six feet tall, weighs between 170 and 180 pounds, has a muscular build and was sporting a goatee at the time. This suspect was last seen driving a black Ford Explorer, with the model years ranging from 1995 to 2000.

The agency notes the SUV could have molding peeling off at the rear window, and there could be two sided tape hanging from the vehicle's rear window.
