The Roswell Police Department will offer two sessions of its free Civilian Firearm Safety Seminar.

The Roswell Police Department will soon bring to the city's residents and business owners a course on firearms safety.

The agency will soon hold its Civilian Firearms Safety Seminar, which will cover firearm safety, storage, child looks and security devices, "less lethal" self-defense choices and state laws on firearms.

The one-night only class will be either on Thursday Aug. 15 or Wednesday Sept. 18.

Both classes will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will be held at the Roswell-Alpharetta Public Safety Training Center located at 11565 Maxwell Road in Alpharetta.
